LW-MOLDMAX III PRO:

Jib Arm Laser Mold Repair Welding Machine

Core Features & Technical Advantages

1. Industrial Laser Stability (Fiber or QCW)

  • Equipped with top-tier Fiber or QCW laser sources, the system ensures excellent beam quality and pulse stability.
  • Benefits: Consistent weld penetration, minimal heat-affected zone (HAZ), and reduced risk of thermal deformation on your valuable molds.

2. Advanced Cooling & Protection

  • Built-in Chiller: Intelligent temperature control enables 24/7 continuous operation without overheating.
  • Argon Gas Shielding: An integrated gas protection system prevents oxidation during the weld, preserving the substrate’s original color and hardness.

3. Heavy-Duty Ergonomic Design

  • Load Bearing: The standard workbench supports up to 50kg (110 lbs), while the separate base design allows the boom to work on floor-standing molds of any weight.
  • User-Friendly Operation: Features a removable control screen, high-definition microscope, and an intuitive joystick for effortless laser head manipulation.

Customizable Configurations & Upgrades

The Photonweld Moldmax III Pro Jib Arm system allows for flexible configuration. Choose the standard package for cost-effective manual control, or add upgrades for automation and specialized tasks.

Standard Package (Included)

Everything you need to start welding immediately.

  • Weld Head: Standard Single Wobble Laser Head (High stability).
  • Control System: 3-Axis Joystick (Manual rocker) for intuitive, hands-on control of the laser position.
  • Workbench: Manual Workbench (Adjustable positioning).

Optional Upgrades (Customizable)

Enhance your machine’s capabilities based on your specific repair needs:

  • 1. Visual System: Trinocular CCD Camera

    • Benefit: Upgrades the standard microscope to a CCD camera system with a screen. Perfect for real-time monitoring, reducing eye fatigue, and easier training/demonstration.
  • 2. Automation: Electric XY Axis

    • Benefit: Replaces manual movement with motorized control on the XY plane. Ideal for long, straight welds where consistent speed and perfect linearity are required.
  • 3. Cylindrical Welding: Rotary Axis (D80 or D100)

    • Benefit: Adds a rotary chuck to the workbench. Essential for welding round parts, cylinders, and shafts.
      • D80: For smaller diameter parts.
      • D100: For larger diameter parts.
  • 4. Advanced Welding Head: Dual Wobble (Double Pendulum)

    • Benefit: Upgrades from Single to Dual Wobble. Creates a wider, more complex beam path, which is better for bridging wider gaps and achieving smoother weld seams on difficult materials.
