Often not the complete surface has to be cleaned, but only certain spots on that surface. Imagine you only have to remove rust on certain spots on a weld or that you only want to clean the rivets on the body of an airplane. That's where spot repair comes in and because of the 2D-scanners in the optic of our laser systems, circles can be created at once, which speeds up the complete process drastically.

How laser marking is used for product traceability.

Contactless laser marking enables reliable labeling in production without time-consuming and costly interruptions. No scratching of tools or components, no smudged markings.  Milling parts are marked with serial and batch numbers, cast parts are engraved with data matrix codes or injection-molded parts are provided with production dates and serial numbers.

Laser marking is a permanent and unforgeable marking of products for traceability over the entire product life cycle. Laser technology is 10 times more cost-effective than comparable technologies (e.g. labeling).
